Hey, everyone! I'm very excited to share this yummy recipe with you. If you don't know already I'm vegan and Josh is into Paleo. Sometimes it can be a little difficult when making meals but hey, we make it work. I love coming up with new recipes and recreating some that I've seen on other blogs. I get asked by many friends how do I make all these good looking foods they see on my Instagram. Well, you're in luck! Slowly but surely I will be posting them on the site Yayy!

Recently I've been craving these raw cacao balls that I made months ago. I think I ate three of them in one day! These are perfect for an afternoon pick me up if you're feeling lethargic and depleted. Not only do these give you a kick of energy they are so easy to make. 


Servings: About 16 balls

Preparation time: 10 minutes


·      1 cup fresh dates

·      ¼ cup raw almonds

·      ½ cup frozen blueberries

·      ¼ cup raw cacao powder

·      ¼ cup ground flaxseeds

·      ¼ cup hemp flour

·      ¼ cup unhulled hemp seeds

·      ¼ cup sesame seeds

In a food processor or blender, process all ingredients except sesame seeds. Once all ingredients are blended together knead in sesame seeds into mix by hand. Take spoon full of mix and roll into balls. Store in freezer.
