Kitchen Appliance Must-Have

When I’m getting ready to be in the kitchen I always need to make sure I have the right appliances. I know there are tons of different kitchen supplies someone can get but I’m only going to focus on one. Ready for it!? The Vitamix! This high-speed blender has made my cooking so much easier. It isn’t cheap but I’m not lying when I tell you it’s worth every penny. The Vitamix is an investment piece, so think of it as a long term item that you’re going to use for years. I use mine almost every time I’m in the kitchen and it’s made my cooking so much easier and faster.

I make my green smoothies every day and you can literally throw everything imaginable in the Vitamix and it will make it into the perfect liquid ever!. Your smoothies will turn out incredibly smooth, no chunks here! Since it is that easy to put whatever fruit or veggies you want you can start feeling more vibrant and healthy with your smoothies.

The Vitamix I have is the G-series 7500 blender which retails for $529. Remember it’s an investment. I think the pros of having one in your kitchen outweigh the cons by far.

PROS

  • Makes amazing smoothies and juices
  • Has automatic and manual pulse for multiple settings
  • Lid is easy to pull off
  • Has a handle and it’s easy to place back on base
  • Breaks through tough skin, seeds, and stems
  • Easy to clean
  • Offers 7 year warranty

CONS

  • Relatively loud
  • On the larger side, taking up some counter space

  • A bit expensive

If you’re looking for something that is high-powered and will do and make a lot more I suggest buying a Vitamix.

And if you want a cheaper alternative there is the NutriBullet and the Omni Blender that will satisfy your smoothie making skills. xoxo
